How to view digital content (DivX, MPG, AVI, etc.) in analog TV, besides recording a VCD / DVD?
Viewing digital content (DivX, mpg, avi, etc.) in analog TV? I have digital content in my notebook: movies (DivX, MPG, AVI, etc.). Is it possible to see these on an analog TV instead of the laptop itself? If so, how? What cards and cables are required? Do above formats must be converted? What is the quality of the image (output) as? Is it possible to divert the output directly from the laptop to digital only, not analog television?
Some laptops have a TV-out port that can be used to connect to the video port on the TV … same case with S-Video if the laptop has those connections, then you should be able to plug it in and depending on the laptop you may need to go to Display Properties or the second screen that can only arise as a clone of the laptop screen. If not one of those who then will to look into getting a TV to VGA adapter and use it to connect to the TV … In any case it is just hit control and the vine, drag the TV if necessary maximize continued … No need to convert, if played on the laptop that will play on TV .. Quality depends on the quality of the video being played.
