I caught a pick pocket and was arrested?
Goton just returned from a day trip to London. I was near the metro and there was a public meeting I was seeing a street magician, so I went to take a look. I saw a man of about 20 ladys unzip a backpack and takes out her purse. I caught the other arm and put it back back and told him to give back again, turned around and took it and thanked me. The young man struggled violently and I think it ended up breaking his arm. Police I arrived and was arrested for assault, together with men for burglary. Although the woman and several people argued my case was taken to a police shopa ยบ for 7 hours. I'm from Hull and now the case had been transferred to Hull and I have to appear before a judge next week, was charged with assault and battery, or something similar. Does anyone think this is correct, you should have just turned a blind eye.
How unfair. This was not his fault he broke his arm because of his bad behavior. Reminds me of the saying, "no good deed goes unpunished." You did the right thing and I hope that the audience are erased. Do people who were there appears to be witnesses for you? Please let us know what happens.
